I’m About To Write Some Bad Lyrics: Part 3— Old Man in a Speedo on the Beach

Track three on my new album, Homemade Nonsense, is about old men on the beach who wear speedos. No hidden meaning. I grew up visiting my grandparents on Cape Cod and practically lived on the beach and every day without fail some 80-year-old guy who was definitely feeling very confident would be seen strutting around in his little speedo.

If the lyrics strike your fancy, I’d love it if you considered pre-ordering my album on Bandcamp or iTunes or pre-save it to your Spotify account! Look for the official release on January 7, 2022!

Old Man in a Speedo on the Beach

Old man in a Speedo on the beach
With his arm skin sagging down below his knees
And he’s not shy or bashful as you can see
He’s the old man in a Speedo on the beach

Old man in a Speedo on the beach
He’s got giant balls that everyone can see
See the tan lines peeking out between his cheeks
He’s the old man in a Speedo on the beach

Old man in a Speedo on the beach
He’s completely lost all sense of modesty
He’s got sky-high body positivity
He’s the old man in a Speedo on the beach

Old man in a Speedo on the beach
I hope one day to be as confident as he
And if I live long enough then I will be
Another old man in a Speedo on the beach

Yeah someday when I turn ninety-two or three
I’ll be an old man in a speedo on the beach
